Bita nother blog coming your way with an extremely disappointed personal. I have suffered the bearing of walking 7 miles in a hot city with some very slow parents. I just can't help moaning. My photography on the way was below average with my only favourite shot was the bridge through some trees and I probably attached the photo. Breakfast happened. *Then insert normal family walk here* happened. My mum promised we would be back by three for a trip to the local dirt jump spot I had researched. No fun was had this morning. Sights were good but nothing we hadn't seen before. Now I need to start the day.
We had an hour's walk to get to the citadel of Budapest. Overlooking the massive city all you had to do was walk up thousands of steps. Budapest is massive and our accommodation counts as being within the city centre although a few miles away. I really suck with landscape photography at the top therefore due to the newby skills within the editing section of photography. Today was a relatively short day in our families terms and conditions. Even though our actual speed was faster than normal. The river view did excite the lot I would demonstrate it in my photos hopefully. The weather was the polar opposite of yesterday. A much better walk was then had through an excitable park. What we did there was incredibly thick. My brother has heating issues so dumbly played chicken with a sprinklers. Accidentally stopping when he made the mistake of slowing down. Problem was he froze when it shot at him so he died of water. Exaggerated a bit maybe but I managed one run underneath the sprinkler. This park lead us down to Europe second longest river called the Danube. Then for a river crossing.
Such a long excessive bridge spanning 350 metres long. That's why for a new paragraph. We only had one more set destination. We walked only a hundred metres to it in a train station style building. The produce market had many stalls ranging from full on paprika investors to sweets and wine shops my mum was very interested in. We walked maybe even half a kilometre just in there upon settling due on a non buttered cheese roll and an almond cake. Our liquid stomachs hadn't been filled that well unfortunately. That meant another place on the mapping. Walking there was about two miles on its own from the old city centre. Passing a recognised park we had visited early in the afternoon yesterday. There was a bit of angst and argument to where we were heading and I really don't know how hard can it be to use Google maps! Cue another paragraph for the boring mile to come after that.
We got to the MOM shopping mall in a very edible state. I refused the escalator so waited for the rest of the family to buy us all a cold drink they came later than needed so I will complain they came way too late for just a few drinks we only had 6 mins to walk half a kilometre. Not like that mattered anyway when we stopped to drink our juices and getting to the house my dad spent an hour just checking up on his Instagram. By the time he came out it was a latish quarter to 4. Just a bit more research then came to hand. I really did hope we would make it to this place. It was so hilly especially for a city. It made London look like a tabletop. The reward was a tiny bit of downhill with an unrewarding site of a locked gate with some badly maintained jumps. It looked like it was privately owned and only contributors had the key. No marked mtb trails in site my dad had the crazy idea of riding up the sas-hegyi hill. We went back up the hill into some very sketchy trails. You could say they were - hegdey. 😂 Bit stupid if you asked me because I got flinged by a branch leaving a dash across my chest. I'm pretty sure they haven't been used for a while though only by walkers if they had. Still attempting to get to the top we got some Google maps results to get to the privately owned museum thing a d found you could get the biggest European snakes and lizards on the hill. And six species of spiders were first discovered on it. We pedalled off very quickly with the scent of downhill at our nose. A newly discovered problem was that of my front wheel with loose bearings. Plus a massive scratch from where my chainring hit my frame while inserting it in the car. Coming back I didn't become happy with the ride. But maybe another time Budapest. Then we had tea and now I will end the blog.
