This morning I woke up because of my mum and I was the first child to wake up so I got changed and had breakfast. I read my book while I waited for the others to get ready. And once they were ready we got in the car and went to the Amythst mine it took us 1 hour in the car.

When we got to the car park we saw 2 reindeer next to a tree. We then parked next to some propane tanks and started walking. It was a 45 minute hike to the ticket office. You had to go to the Amythest Mine on a guided tour which were held on the hour. We however for there at 12 past 12 so we had lunch and then went to the mine with the tour group .

We had to walk up some steps to the top of the hill and at the top we were told how the Amythest was formed, what other gems you could find and finally what they look like while drinking Berry juice. We then went to dig Amythest I found three that I liked 2 pieces of Amythest and 1 piece of smoke quartz I was going to buy two of them because you could get 1 free if it was smaller than your Palm. But I got them free because my sister dropped her Amythest so we didn't have time to go to the shop.

We went down to the cafe and I had some juice and a donut. Once we had finished we went back to the car and started driving back, on the way there were 2 reindeer walking on the road towards us. When they saw it they didn't go off the road or anything nope they just carried on, but luckily my dad avoided them. We also saw some cranes (as in the bird cranes 🐦). Before finally getting back to the apartment .

I played on my phone for a bit and then we had reindeer sausages for dinner and that was about it for today. Thank you for reading this blog.
