Today we visited a salt mine called Praid. It's a tourist attraction that's basically a huge tunnel of lots of caves. We had to take a bus to get in because it's too long to walk and it would be too awkward to drive in because there's nowhere to park a car. Felix stayed behind because he didn't like the idea of going underground. The first thing we did when we got in was go to a small park with a wooden train, two seesaws,a slide and some bench/swing things. It turns out there were quite a few parks down there. The next thing we did was play badminton which is something you can do down there if you bring your own racket and shuttle. We did that for a while but we stopped to go to the toilet. Some of the other things you could do included an obstacle course thing and a play area with a bouncy castle but both of those cost money so we didn't do either of them. We saw some people shooting some spinning things in the air and I wanted one so we went to a shop to get one. It took us a while to find them and they cost 6 lei (about £1.20). I bought one and we played with it for a while. We were going to get hot chocolates but the shop had closed. My dad told Jowan to lick a wall, thinking he wouldn't take him seriously but Jowan actually licked a wall and he said it tasted salty. We then went to the museum but it wasn't particularly interesting and there was far too much reading. By the time we got out the chocolate shop was open and we bought a hot chocolate each and a slab of salted dark chocolate to share. The dark chocolate was quite salty but the hot chocolate was tasty. After that we played with my toy a bit and then it was time to go. We had to walk up more than 100 steps before we could get on the bus. The bus ride was quite rough and the driver was driving quite fast. We meet up with Felix by the ticket office and then it was time to go home.
