Aaaaargh why a blog, I'm getting more reluctant to do these, today, Saturday one of the days where I do not have to do schoolwork. But have to do the dishes! That's something I'm getting more professional at. Taking me less than 5 mins to clean everything from breakfast. Some detail I will not forget is the privileges my brother received when his birthday was only tomorrow. Not so early a start was commended because our strengths needed a rest. Public transport was done luckily without a 3 mile walk just to get near the centre of Tallinn. Today it was a different bus journeying us closer to the port of Tallinn. Dropping us maybe a mile or so of the abandoned building of Lina hall that had been made for the controversial 1980 Russia Olympics. Even when Estonia wasn't considered part of the USSR it still held the sailing. We walked through an unmaintained park with extremely uneven steps. At the top of these we found an exercise styled park, I pulled 8 chin ups in a row and half of them went full extension at the bottom. With Jowan and Lowenna not managing a single one I was done for with competition. My dad on the other hand claims he is too heavy and only did 4.
We circled around this park for a while until having to come back out the way we came in. More unneeded walking to be had. It wasn't long before getting to this abandoned shack. Quite a sizeable building for sure and I really don't see the point in it. A nice 'urban’ photography challenge was met with concerning failures from both my mother and father. Can't blame them with their over artificial images from a tiny sensor and bad capabilities. It's not really about the camera and I still think I met better shots with my composition especially with my blue and yellow shot I have attached. We then headed to the edge of a road underlooking the cruise ship port. Gigantic quarter mile ships were placed there glooming over us. A measly big ferry which took the name as the biggest ferry in Europe as in length - 246 metres long. We left them there after an uneventful docking so we could eat our lunch in the ruins of the spot. Again, pepperoni sandwiches laid the table.
Later on we went off on our way. Probably never to see this building again for decades to come. Needing shoes and wanting to go shopping as well we traversed to a more populated part of town. Our first stop was overpriced clothing. I met my low low and bought a vest. To be just like my inspiration of Sam pilgrim. No shoes there but across this fashionable street was a chocolate factory outlet. Everything was so cheap so I bought a quarter kilo mound of marzipan and with that purchase I had some chocolate milk biscuits. Obviously no shoes in there so we needed to get to a proper sports shop. Somehow we had been redirected to a second hand shop which was no use. For me anyway. We spent about 4 hours there so I may as well start another paragraph.
This time we actually routed round to sports direct in a gigantic shopping mall. I didn't spend much timewise in here because of my lightning quick choosing. I ended on some slazengers at a rough 34 quid. I was forced to buy some socks with my life's savings. 12 pairs of em! 8 flipping euros. I'll get my money back one day. With a newfound purchase we had no need to be outside as we needed a rest. Our fortunate public transport ticket was helpful and excellently priced. Not much more to write about now except I think I've won the urban photography contest and we had pizza for tea. I am not writing another blog for years!!!
