Chocolate

The most interesting thing that happened today was going to a chocolate factory. As most of the day was spent travelling again, there wasn't really time to do much else.

As we walked towards the factory we could smell lots of different things. The smell changed as we walked across the car park. By the car, we could smell liquorice whereas by the doors we could smell chocolate.

Once inside, we walked through the shop without paying it much attention to a small museum at the back. This mostly contained the wrappers of older chocolate bars that they used to make, but there was also a screen showing how the chocolate is made and the various jobs that are involved.

Once we had finished with the museum, we went back to the shop where my mum informed us we had 50 Krone (about £5) each to spend on chocolate. After a while, I finally decided to spend my money on a pack of three marzipan and chocolate bars reduced to 14 Krone and a box of dark mint chocolates for 33 Krone.

When we got outside my mum realised that she had 18 Krone left and as they were Norwegian Krone and we were leaving Norway, she told me to go back and buy another pack of marzipan to share.
