We're all on countdown now until next Friday - the kids for entirely different reasons. We're sad that the end of our trip is approaching so rapidly while the kids are really looking forward to seeing their friends again (well obviously we've missed our friends as well :P)
Much as we would like to make the most of our few remaining days, we also know our limitations, so today was a slow start and some time to work on navorama (mainly getting some features tied up before we make our demo video - watch this space!)
Besides, the kids have plenty to occupy themselves with here - bikes, go karts, animals, the electric train and their new British friend from the apartment next door. In fact, they were less than pleased when we dragged them out for a few hours for a walk along the Danu-bae (as Felix pronounces it, Danube to everyone else apart from the Germans, who call it the Donau).
Plus it was really hot, so we didn't last long or walk particularly far before deciding to come back. Time for dinner and a relaxing drink on the terrace (they have a bar with an honesty system here, it's very relaxed), and then we hope to head out to see the Perseids after dark, if we can keep our eyes open long enough!
Tomorrow is a 4-5 hour journey to Weibern, where James plans to spend some time at the Nurburgring (spectating, not driving I hope!). That's if we can drag the kids away from here...
